X.1692. X.3317. RE AMERICAN CARS. I recommend that we should retain the Marmon and the Buick Cars. The Marmon Car has a push-rod engine very similar to the Vulture in size. It has gearbox on the prop: shaft and has several other features which are interesting. The Buick Car has an engine very similar to the new Goshawk with the push-rod. It has a gearbox on the engine like what is proposed for the new Goshawk. I consider that those two cars should be registered and kept. X.4212/3. X.4217. With reference to the Dodge, Essex and Hupmobile Cars I recommend that we carry out tests on these and let Mr. Royce have an opportunity of testing them but that we should not go to the expense of registering them. We should run them on red number plates and then hand them over to Sales Dept. for the, to get rid of them. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
