In some instances fixtures are sent to the stores on completion of certain operations but here there is no system of rigid inspection and overhaul where necessary to insure the equipment being satisfactory for operational purposes when required.

The general principle for the introduction of equipment similar to that which has been outlined should be established. It may mean in the first place such equipment may be crude but the intention is to convey the principle of this equipment for economical production.

Having proved the principle it should then be possible to produce tackle that will be suitable for use on production.
