2nd PEREGRINE UNIT.

Will you please note that the following parts should be fitted following our experience on the 1st unit.

(1) Parts to V.1354/3/6 fitted to existing oil pump in order to reduce delivery.

(2) Steel rocker pedestal to be fitted in place of existing pedestal.

(3) Cylinder head water passages restricted as on sketch V.1343.

Additionally we should like to test this unit with a gearbox because at the present moment there is a very violent leak from the rear crankshaft bearing, which we cannot comment upon until we have run the engine with a gearbox, since J.3. with exactly similar design is running satisfactorily on the adjacent test bed. As this unit is going to run on the road, we should like it to be fitted with the small bore induction pipe as per Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/AJ.14.6.32.
