R.{Sir Henry Royce} is pushing the shortened pendulum lever as you will see from RL/M10.2.28. We are also pushing it for complaints, as being a very much cheaper and better way of satisfying customers than fitting the 720 lead.

We have asked for the side steering tube to suit Continental and the standard car to be detailed to suit the 9 1/2" pendulum lever. We believe this job is practically finished as it only requires a small modification from the standard tube, but we should be obliged if you could get it completed as soon as possible.
