Motor T 7LX from 14 GTV.

This motor has been dismantled and examined after running 17000 miles on the car. It is a standard production machine.

The condition generally is very good. Brush dust deposit was found to be slight and the machine withstood the 200 volt insulation test for a few seconds before breaking down through the brush dust.

The commutator and brushes were smooth and running well though some of the brushes were slightly sluggish in the holders.

The armature and field poles and coils were in a quite clean and new condition.
