Dear Mr. Hickling, It has occurred to us that the elongation of holes in cages to prevent cage failures might be patentable and thenceforth a source of income. As your Company would be in a much better position to make use of such a patent than ourselves we wondered whether you would like to take out the patent under our joint names and share any proceeds equally.
