This being the case, it is necessary that we should at once stop producing this type of worm and replace it with a similar worm of curved face form, which will give more area per tooth, at once. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} agree that it is necessary that we should make the new wheel. We require your consent to incorporate this modification in "India" plus F.W.B. material. In the meantime, I have stopped the Works producing the old piece, which would only represent so much scrap.
