To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} X 8795 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 6/T4.7.24. X.4187 - SCINTILLA MAGNETO. Will you kindly order up from Messrs. Scintilla one of the larger size magneto AG-6-A, this to be of similar rotation to the two that we have on order at present, namely, left hand rotation, i.e. anticlockwise, viewed from the driving end. This is the opposite direction of rotation from the magneto of this size and type which we already have in our possession. We return to you attached copy of their letter of June 16th, which you passed to us under cover of your Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 1/NJ17.6.24, and in accordance with their second paragraph we should like them to supply this machine to work as nearly as possible to the performance laid down in our specification, copy of which they have already had, but we do not want there to be appreciable delay in the delivery of this magneto on account of their attempting to meet the specification in the last detail. copy of letter att.
