Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 27th inst. and note that you are communicating with the American factory re the possibility of obtaining an instrument reading 0-100 lbs.

It occurs to us that you might be interested in the somewhat rough and ready ball mounted foot plate we are fitting to the Press-o-meter we have, and we enclose print Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}544. We appreciate that a much neater job could be made if incorporated in the design of the instrument.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
