ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} X.3741 c. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. EFC. BY10/G.13.12.28. One important way of testing a battery is of course to check the gravity of the electrolyte. Every battery outfit that I know of supplies a hydrometer. For my own house battery the Austin Co. supplied two hydrometers, and for a car battery I use, similarly a special hydrometer was supplied to suit it. In view of the above facts, it would certainly be wrong to cut out the hydrometer, and in any case it would give a miserly appearance to our equipment. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
