A6122. Ha/Wst.5/MA. 21st July, 1934. Messrs.Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd., Exide Works, Clifton Junction, Nr. Manchester. For the attention of Mr.E.C.McKinnon. Dear Sir, We propose to fit to Mr.E.R.Hall's racing Bentley for the Ulster T.T. an exide battery. We should like you therefore to send us as quickly as possible a brand new battery for this purpose. No doubt you will have this battery carefully examined to ensure that it is as perfect as can be, particularly as regards the container and the cell to cell connections. Will you kindly advise the earliest date which you can deliver this battery to us in order that we can get the car running on the road with its own battery. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
