X 3699 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Rd. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rd11/57A/11.10.20. STANDARDISATION OF CHASSIS PART X NO.3699 NEW TYPE MAGNETO DRIVE (SERRATED) DRAWING M.2142. On going into this job we find very small difference between the value of the new design and the value of the old part. This is due to the fact that while the new design is considerably more expensive in detail, the Magneto Brake has been eliminated. I understand from Mr.Hives that it is quite possible the Magneto Brake may have to be re-introduced. The value of the Magneto Brake is 16/- (without profit). D/Rd. | ||
