EXCITEMENT AT THE BUTCHER'S SHOP IN THE T.T.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hall's big Bentley slides on to the pavement in Comber during his neck and neck struggle with the Hon. Brian Lewis's Lagonda, which can be seen immediately behind. The Bentley missed the butcher's shop, missed the sand-bags, and missed a crash by inches—but Lewis seized his opportunity and shot past into the lead.

THE GREAT DUEL IN THE R.A.C. T.T. RACE BEGINS
The Motor
The sight that brought 3,000 people to their feet. Bryan de Grineau's impression of the Hon. Brian Lewis (Lagonda) overtaking E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hall (Bentley) opposite the stands on the 25th lap—one of the most thrilling moments in the race, and which saw the beginning of a ding-dong struggle that lasted until Lewis's tyres gave out on the 33rd lap.
