We perhaps ought to explain that in writing our Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}8/HR4.1.33. we expressed only the Experimental Department's opinion after somewhat lengthy discussion, as we ourselves have not had sufficient experience of clutch slip complaints on synchromesh type cars to say definitely whether we are in agreement. In view of the contents of your memo. and bearing in mind the Quarterly Complaints list now about to be compiled, we have again discussed the matter with the Experimental Dept., who have, as a result, agreed to reply to your memo. direct. Of the thirteen cases mentioned by you only two have been dealt with at ". and only one of these (GMU-3) was a synchromesh car. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} | ||
