To HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to Col. W HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL [stamp] R1/G9/5/21. Y3725 RE "GOSHAWK II" - DUNLOP WIRE WHEELS. With reference to Dunlop wheels for "Goshawk II", I think we must ask the Sales [stamp: RECEIVED MAY 11 1921] whether they think it is worth while putting the Dunlop people to the expense of producing a wheel to suit our requirements. [stamp: 11 MAI 1921] The second point will be to find out if any improvements can be made in the dimensions of the one we have under consideration. We must not propose anything unless we are sure that it is better, lighter, and simpler, and more practical even than our 40/50 H.P. which was redesigned by us at LeCanadel. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
