Chassis 6-B-IV

As requested by Mr.Hancock of Chateauroux, we are returning to you, through The General Transport Co, per petite Vitesse, carriage forward, in our case No.1089, the front axle and 3 brake drums dismantled from above car after accident.

Will you please arrange to hand these over to Experimental Department as soon as possible, also letting us know at the earliest opportunity if the front axle is repairable, and if any of the other parts can be saved.

We have been in touch with the Insurance Expert for some time concerning the cost of the repairs effected by us, and as the Insurance people are under the impression that the front axle could have been repaired, we have arranged with them to fix the final figure only after you have examined the parts. It is, therefore, important for us to know without delay the credit, if any, which you can allow for the returned parts.

We attach hereto copy of our pro-forma invoice covering this consignment, and we trust that you will have no difficulty in clearing same through Customs.

Sr/Go.
