For the attention of Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll. Smith.

Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 14th instant and note that you are returning one 11.A3 clutch for same to be stripped and rebuilt with green springs, also that you desire the balance of the pressure plate to be carried out in accordance with the method recently agreed upon. We will arrange to carry out this work with the minimum possible delay.

In the meantime we regret to note that you have experienced trouble with an 11" clutch on your test bed. It certainly would appear to indicate that there is some peculiar condition creeping in regarding the particular type of test such as you carry out and which you have not yet been able to locate. We shall be pleased to receive your further advice in connection with the 11" clutch which has failed.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
