Repeat Tests of EGO & EG2 Morganite Brushes on Goshaw Dynamos A set each of the above has been run again on the direct coupled rig, for the usual equivalent of 2500 miles continuous running & 45 hours intermittent running EGO. Sparking with these was slightly more than the normal with Z Brushes; the commutator was left a medium brown but rather irregular. The brushes themselves acquired a good surface, though they were somewhat noisy on the commutator. The amount of wear is - Positive .023"; Negative, .017"; Control .021".
