REPORT ON GOSHAWK EXHAUST SYSTEM.

Comparative figures showing difference in H.P's -
(a) having standard exhaust system - and
(b) Front exhaust box on same lines as 40/50 HP.

Also showing HP. lost on each system as each part is added from open exhaust.

'A' - Standard. 'B' - 40/50 Type.
I - Open exhaust.

A1. Exhaust box only fitted (This includes hot spot).
B1. Exhaust pipes only fitted (Hot spot from central port only, the other two being independent).

A2. Exhaust pipes to silencer added.
B2. Front exhaust box and pipe to silencer added.

A3. and B3. A pipe added to turn silencer at right angles to engine so as to get fumes away.

A4. and B4. Silencer added.

A5. and B5. Swan neck added.
