408 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}3/MH.{M. Huckerby}1.11.38. B.III INDUCTION SYSTEM. The Bentley III chassis available at present including the one in France (8.B.V.) are fitted with "mock up" induction pipes. We are having certain troubles with the automatic starting arrangement on this section, and we are therefore anxious to get the designed system tested as soon as it is available. It is time now that castings were coming through, and we are rigging up an engine on our portable rig for tests in the Cold Chamber. Will you please urge these induction pipes; the latest carburetters are now available and can be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C.
