| COPY. To C. From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re B.V's Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/E20340 I rather think I mentioned to you when in London the question of proceeding with the completion of the two cars, B26-AW, Young of Bromley and B32-AW, H.J. Mulliner, both of which were to have been Show cars but were withdrawn owing to hostilities. Would you please go into the matter and let me know if you see any reason why they should not be completed and offered for sale in the ordinary way now that all but one of the former Bentley's have been sold and it, I expect, will be sold long before these cars can be ready. With regard to the 10 incomplete B.V. chassis which have been sent to Hythe Road since the end of the year, I have asked Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to have this matter gone into with a view to seeing what it would mean to complete some or all of these. I understood from Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} that none of them were Corniche models. There are, however, already about 3 or 4 Corniche models that were there previously and we agreed the other afternoon that, if it would help to complete the standard ones, we would rob the Corniche ones of some of their material such as gearboxes.
