Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.
Dear Sirs,
We are sending you herewith the blue prints asked for in your letter of the 18th instant.
The distance between the core and the step in the body is wider on your pumps than on our standard, the standard being 15 to 25 thou. yours - 30 to 40 thou.
As regards the body itself, we have found it better with the new diaphragm material to let the diaphragm come back further, and not to go in so far as with our standard diaphragm, and therefore the depth to the inner step of the body is altered from 13/64 to 3/16.
Assuring you of our best endeavours.
We are,
Yours faithfully,
For THE S.U. COMPANY.
