BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to DJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 'SS{S. Smith}' FRONT WING STAYS, HEADLAMPS, NUMBER PLATE, ETC. Herewith we send N. schemes 2761/2. shewing the proposed method of mounting the fixed headlamps such as you are fitting to 18-EX. in conjunction with the wing stays, also of attaching the front number plate. We shew three bolts holding the wing stay, but as we wish you, for the first car, to use the existing pressings, we should like you to adapt the design to four bolts until you can conveniently change to three.
