Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R.13.8.38. BODY FOR NEXT B.III. We are not clear as to the position of the body for the next B.III chassis. At Derby we have just completed the first up-to-date B.III which will be going to France next month. We are anxious to have another up-to-date car to work on while this is away. The chassis is in the process of being built and will be completed in 6 to 8 weeks. We understand that the body might have to be delayed owing to Park Ward's congestion with Wraith Show bodies and the new B.50 body. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}9/N.13.8.38., however, gives the necessary chassis particulars, and also a body specification which contains the modifications we think might be desirable in view of our experience on the first two bodies. We understood from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that you were also going to submit some suggestions, and we should like to know the general position as soon as possible.
