Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Date 19. 6. 28 Page 2.

with the installation of our gauge, we should be obliged if you could let us have a diagram or detailed drawings of the exact areas and positions of the venting arrangements of your tank, and its connection to the annulus in the filler neck. We can then consider the whole case in conjunction with the Engineers of the King-Seeley Corporation, as we would like to give the matter our most careful consideration before coming to a final decision, both in respect of actual testing of installation on a tank not fitted to a car, and also consideration of the matter in conjunction with the American Engineers in drawing form.

We are particularly desirous of being able to come to some agreement agreeable to yourselves, inasmuch as the King-Seeley Corporation have already come to definite arrangements with Rolls-Royce Inc. of America, who, we believe, are using their standard design including all our standard features, but adapted to your American Company's calibration and dashboard requirements.

Assuring you at all times of our best attention.

Yours faithfully.
H.M. HOBSON, LTD.,
