I suggested to them that they should proceed as rapidly as possible to make at least 12 Carburetters without external finish, so that we can use these for testing chassis in their early stages, and so keep us going until they can send us bulk supplies of the finished article.

Fortunately they are also buying new machinery including a No.6 Precision Jig Boring Machine from the Societe Genevoise Limited.

I laid down emphatically that they must tell us their troubles, that we want to know the worst all the time, and we will help in every possible way, and we will visit them again later on.
