| -3- HPS {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} /WSC. {W. S. Cassel} 1/BA.19.6.39. Remarks. 12.B.V. Fitted with Wraith Ripple No.2 Unit. It is now decided that this car will be used for 15,000 miles tests, fitted with all Ripple features, except the existing Bentley Bonnet, Radiator, and .104 thick frame. Specification now being prepared. New Lower Triangle Levers are required, also new Rear Axle Shafts. 7.B.V. On test for general development. Fitted with B.V. No.3 Unit. We have instructed for the two leading shoe brakes scheme to be fitted to this car. RH. {R. Hollingworth} stated that we should be in a position to accept this car by June 24th for the purpose of fitting these brakes. 8.B.V. Rebuilt after 50,000 miles trials, despatched to Coachbuilders 8:6.39. Fitted with B.V.No.7 Unit. New Brake Drums and Brake Linings are required, to be fitted when the car returned from the Coachbuilders. 9.B.V. On test for general development. One shot Amal Bonnet Fastener. Fitted with B.III No.4 Unit. 9.B.V. On test for general development. One shot Amal Bonnet Fastener. Fitted with B.III No.4 Unit. 6.B.IV. On test for general development. Fitted with B.24 Unit. Clutch Servo Mechn to FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 431 to be tried out on this car after bench tests have been completed. WRAITH CARS ON TEST. 25.G.VI. On test for general development fitted with W.III.
