When re-building this chassis will you please make the following alterations:-

GEAR BOX.

(1) Fit bronze cones to the top, 3rd and 2nd speed.
(2) Fit steel top and 3rd actuating sleeve.
(3) " a bronze top and 3rd operating stirrup.
(4) " a new top and 3rd sliding piece and take measurements of the rotational slack.

REAR AXLE.

(1) Fit new bronze differential thrust washers and note the exact thickness of every washer, as we are interested in the wear when using a very active hypoid lubricant.

(2) We should like the same pinion bearing re-fitted after the measurement of the slack or pre-load has been taken.

(3) Block up the present breather and fit P.III breather unit complete. The D.O. are altering the drawings to this modification on production, but these will not be ready when you have to re-build this car.
