R.{Sir Henry Royce} Davis, Esq.
19th April 1937.

I am pleased to learn from Mr. Manwaring that the new Electric Clock is functioning satisfactorily. Regarding your enquiry as to price - unfortunately it is not possible to give you definite information at the moment as the design is not in production, but I can promise that the figure will not be in excess of that obtaining in the case of your present electric clock.

Mr. Russell will be writing you to-day with regard to the proposed use of graphite bearings for petrol Gauge tank attachments, and the question of an improved type of ter-minal for the petrol Gauge meter.

Yours truly,
(Sgd) Charles W. Nichols.
