We are arranging to have the Special Solid Eyes shown thereon machined at our Engineers Tool Dept, and you may be sure that we will despatch the plates to you at the earliest moment; at present we are unable to say on what date - but of course we will advise you when we are quite sure. Please send another copy of your Drawing EX.18483. With reference to the last paragraph of your letter- if you are prepared to accept Upturned Solid Eyes in lieu of the Central Solid Eyes shown on our Drawing No.172 for Front Springs - the former would be in every way practical, because the lubricating holes through the eyes could then be made Standard size.
