(2) You will remember my advice to limit the bodies until we had made some changes, was outvoted by nearly everyone, but it was right. No 'Twenties' should be fitted with 6 seaters even if we lose 25% of the orders. It was a very good small chassis, and in the same way as a still smaller chassis should only be fitted with suitable bodies, because it spoils hopelessly - (a) its appearance, (b) its riding qualities, (c) its performance. all of which were passably good. (very) The specimen I tested was abominable and I have heard that worse have been made to our instructions, and sold after considerable difficulty, whereas we cannot keep a smart small body longer than a few days.
