3.12.1930. Metafilters (1929) Ltd. and Rolls Royce Ltd. Mr. Pickard (the Managing Director of Metafilters (1929) Ltd.) interested Rolls Royce Ltd. in the Oil Filter for Motor cars some time ago. Early in September he saw Mr. Rolledge, Mr. Hawe, their chief chemist, Mr. Trevellian, of the experimental department, and Mr. Royce, of the purchasing department. As a result of this meeting, on September 10th, Rolls Royce ordered two filters for test, which were despatched on September 25th. These have, therefore, been under test for over two months, and we have received no indication from Rolls Royce concerning them. As the filters are now coming through, and as we are receiving enquiries from Rolls Royce' owners, what we want to know is some indication of what Rolls Royce think about it and what their advice would be likely to be if any Rolls' owners communicate with them. | ||
