On the whole, if the cost of scrap is not too great, it would be better to machine all the bits of N.sch.2328 while we find the most suitable spring, as into this tube end we can get almost any spring we desire with any travel.
For new cars N.sch.2308 should certainly be used unless any N.sch.2067 have actually been completed.
