To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Extract from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG7.2.21. X.3481. GOSHAWK 1 CAR. X.3528. The change speed lever is not very nice at present the springs controlling the lever sideways and the springs on the slide rods are too stiff. The lever being so far back makes it very difficult to slide along the front seat which is very necessary to on a car with central change. We believe also the change speed lever would be more convenient if it was taller. | ||
