(Your ref. JAD/MMF.)

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to the axle we are requiring substantially as your drawing HA/001-2 and HA/001-5, we would appreciate from you some of the detail drawings for the axle in question, in order to enable us to prepare our detail drawings of the parts we have to make. The main parts concerned are obviously the axle shafts and tubes, but details of any mating parts would also be helpful. In this connection, the outer end of the axle tube that we are using is not to your drawing HA/001-5, but as HA/001-6, so that the detail of the tube for that axle would also be useful.

As an alternative to your suggestion of machining the new tubes from the solid, have you in stock any tubes with the end of HA/110-6 if we were to consider building up our tubes by welding?

Yours faithfully,

D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Bastow
