Rolls Royce, Ltd., 14-15, Conduit Street, W.1. Dear Sir, How often is the performance of a good car ruined through inexpert removal of an obstinate cylinder head by means of a cold chisel and hammer? By means such as these the head often becomes distorted and it is difficult to make a tight joint. We have introduced on the market a liquid jointing which breaks easily, it being possible to remove the cylinder head merely by lifting by hand. All gaskets and washers can be dispensed with, thus making for a great saving in expense and time. Machines on which all gaskets and washers have been replaced by our liquid packing have given every satisfaction in racing, and have increased their power. Under separate cover we are sending you a sample of our "Holdfast Liquid Jointing" and trust that you will arrange to have it tried out. Such firms as Messrs.
