I note what you say concerning larger tyres.
Do I understand from the last paragraph of your memo. that you have already satisfied yourself that 6 x 17 tyres are no improvement on the existing standard. If this is so, then it would be a waste of time for Geoffrey Smith to have them fitted.
Have you any hopes of the 6½ x 17?
