17 To JJ. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}4/ET.17.12.40. 1. We have had two serious complaints from the Chief Warden for the District regarding light from the door of the boiler house at Clan Foundry. The opening is covered with a green canvas curtain. This is not sufficient because, in any wind, in spite of weights fitted to the bottom of the curtain, it blows up and lets out a lot of light. 2. We have not as yet received padlocks for the Air Raid Shelter Gates. 3. We have not yet received a spring to shut the passage door leading into the yard from outside the staff cloak room. Can you please put these items in hand as urgent matters. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson} | ||
