HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} [strikethrough]COPY to SC. WOK[/strikethrough] ORIGINAL. BALANCING OF CRANK - 12/8 SCHEME OF BALANCE WEIGHTS. x634 x7010 x5010 I cannot see any reason why it should not be easy to balance a crankshaft which has been machined all over, when one has added the two central and the two end balance weights which naturally come in the right positions and have been made of equal effective balance. Static balance should shew if the four half units at 30º are correct in weight distance from the centre. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
