Stromberg Carburetter. No.

(1) Difficulty in starting from cold,
chiefly due to sticking of choke. 12.

(2) Sticking of metal piston and spring
faulty. 2.

(3) Flooding due to petrol level being too
high. 2.

(4) Spitting in carburetter due to dirt in
float chamber, also sticking of float. 6.

(5) Sticking of throttle. 1.

(6) Distortion of float chamber cover
allowing petrol to spill on exhaust
pipe. 1.

(7) Petrol level low. 1.

(8) Main metering jet incorrectly fitted
causing restriction. 1.

Brakes.

(1) Seizure of rear foot brake actuating shafts. 5.

(3) Inefficient brakes, reline servo
(a) Servo efficiency now increased by
fitting a lever to servo
counter-shaft. 3.
(b) Rebed and adjust servo. 2.

(4) Servo squeaks. 4.

(5) Sticking of servo due to dust on shaft
end pins. 3.

(6) Brake squeak - front. 1.
