We find that with the long pedal travel if the clutch fingers are set to the old dimension of .812 from the face of the clutch cover, it is necessary to set the pedal with excessive free movement, otherwise the pedal will not reach the stop on the crankcase without force. Please set the finger to .845 in future as this dimension enables the back of the pedal plate to be set 10.200 from the dash when up, and 2.375 when down. It is important to ensure that the pedal will reach the stop on the crankcase without "sponge" otherwise excessive load may be imposed on the clutch thrust bearing.
