Summary of faults reported to date.

ENGINE.
1) Nº7 Valve Spring broken.
2) Bottom Tappets lift out of guides when removing push-rods.
3) Fan noisy.
4) Fan belt stretched beyond limit of adjustment.
5) Starting handle does not line up with crankshaft.
6) Torque reaction arm on raised front mounting not up to job and allows excessive engine movement.
7) S.U. High Pressure Pump on engine foot very noisy.
8) Petrol starvation on acceleration after halt with Air at 28°c.
9) Loss of water from radiator overflow pipe.
10) Oil leaks from rear main bearing into clutch pit.
11) Generally rough - Thumps and periods.
12) Stays at front of front expansion box not satisfactory.
13) Tappets noisy.
14) Idling deteriorates when hot and engine stalls easily.

CLUTCH.
15) Jaggers attributed to excessive engine movement.
16) Slip attributed to oil on facings.
