X2894. N-W. A17/H.15.5.30. Technical - re Battery Ignition Replacements X.2894 Tungsten Contact Points, Distributor Rotors. In reply to your EFC1/AD.14.5.30, of which we have received a copy, our replies are as follows:- (1) Tungsten points. The replacement of these as far as we are concerned is usually an ordinary running replacement to make good the effects of wear and tear. There are a few isolated cases of quick burning of T.T.points. (2) Ignition rotors. The only occasions we can call to mind in which we have to make replacements, are where rotors have been accidentally broken by drivers. A.{Mr Adams} | ||
