It is urgently desired that the outside petrol filler on the side of the Bentley should be standardised immediately in view of the fact that fifty all-steel bodies have been built having this filler. The filler in question is fitted to B56BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} which has now completed its 10,000 miles test. We are very anxious to receive from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} a report concerning the life of the soft brass bellows, as we have had some fear that the relative movement between the body and the chassis might cause these to crack. As we have to order at least 50 sets of these almost immediately we would like a report on this. The other point of interest is the question of petrol hose guns and the difficulty which Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} experienced with a nozzle on the pump at Chateauroux. When last in England he said he would send us particulars of this nozzle and also he would tell us whether this is a nozzle commonly to be found in France, so that, if necessary, we could modify the design of the gun-rack to deal with the case.
