20-G4 springs are low rating.

G.A.V. are not low rating, but of the standard type.

The low rating springs will not give such good stability as the standard for Continental touring.

The best we can recommend in the way of shock absorber loading for Continental work with low rating springs is the standard poundage of 90 up, 115 down, with the smallest size of hole in the valve, say front .038, rear .044.

If the benefit of the low rating springs is to be obtained in England the standard shock absorber setting should be used when the car returns to this country.
