-2- Contd. on disengagement is not as bad as it would otherwise be. I am informed by Mr. Lidsey that there was also some whirr on disengagement with the 50 helical teeth but this was comparatively short and sharp and no doubt was worse because of the incorrectly formed teeth. That is to say, one case was worse in amount but shorter in time, and the other was less in amount but lasted for a longer time. It would almost appear that 10° of angle would be worth trying. We had already previously asked for a set of 50/helical teeth with sharp corners. EFC. | ||
