1370 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}3/MH.{M. Huckerby} 23rd. June, 1939. Messrs. Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, BIRMINGHAM. For the attention of Mr. H.E.Price. Dear Sirs, I understand from Mr. Robotham that in your telephone conversation you said that the 5 1/2" rim wheels would be here next Thursday. The car to which we intend to fit them is leaving for France the following day, and this means that if you could do anything to expedite their delivery so that they arrive here on or before Wednesday, the 28th., it would give us a chance to paint them the right colour before the car leaves. As regards the Racing tyres, we now understand that these will not be available until Wednesday. We shall be glad, therefore, if you will send them to Derby and not to Brooklands. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
