W/S. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.25.3.39. With reference to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}22/KW.15.3.39., our fresh air heating scheme has not yet reached a state of development where we should be justified in running it on other than experimental cars. We deprecate the use of the word "Air-conditioning" in connection with this arrangement. Actually, the difference between taking in fresh air from outside the car, and re-circulating the air inside, is not great because, owing to leakage, the air in any car is replaced very frequently.
