For the attention of Mr. Eckford.

Dear Sirs,

We are sending you under separate cover the Bentley V.{VIENNA} thermostat, which failed on one of our experimental cars and was the subject of our letter of the 10th. instant.

As you will observe this is in a practically closed condition, and we should be very glad if you would examine it and let us have a report as soon as possible.

Following your inspection, we should like you to re-fill the instrument to give a running temperature of 100°C. and let us have same at the earliest possible date.
