Contd. -4- EH3/LG8.5.18. The ideal plug would be one which the insulator kept so hot that no carbon would stay on it, this suggests a pot insulation but no material we have tried will stand up. The Bosch material is no use on Aero engines it forms "barnacles" The success of the "Pognon" plug to resist soot is because the insulator keeps very hot. E H.{Arthur M.
